Mike Pointer, General Counsel and Secretary; Vice President, Human Resources
Mike Pointer joined America II in 1995 and currently directs the company's legal and human resources functions.
Prior to joining America II, Pointer represented the organization on employment matters while working
for the labor and employment law firm of Zinober & McCrea, P.A. in Tampa, Florida. Before relocating
to Florida in 1993, Pointer gained a broad base of experience working in Washington, D.C. for one of the
country's largest law firms, Kirkland & Ellis, P.A., and the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission.
Pointer also had the distinction of serving as an appellate law clerk to the Honorable George E.
MacKinnon, U.S. Court of Appeals, D.C. Circuit. Pointer is a graduate of The University of Notre
Dame Law School (magna cum laude) and Oral Roberts University (summa cum laude).
